How much does your therapy cost?

The session fees are posted HERE, as the Specialties page The session will be prorated with 10-min increments, if the session continues beyond the booked time. Likely, we meet weekly for the first few months and then decide if we want to continue to meet weekly or biweekly.

 

Does insurance cover your service?

I do not work directly with insurance providers. My services are offered on a self-pay basis. However, psychotherapy provided by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) may qualify as a health expense and can potentially be claimed on your taxes. Please consult with a tax professional to confirm your eligibility.

  • Payment is required at the time of service.

  • I can provide a superbill upon request, which you may submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement under out-of-network benefits (if applicable).

  • Please verify with your insurance provider if they offer reimbursement for out-of-network mental health services.

 

What is your cancellation policy?

I have a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify me in advance to avoid being charged for the session. Your understanding and cooperation are appreciated as this policy allows me to accommodate other clients who may need the time slot.

What is your working schedule?

M-F 9:30 am - 4:30 pm EST.

Do you offer in-person therapy sessions?

No, currently I offer online therapy sessions only, to accommodate your busy schedule. Online therapy provides the flexibility and convenience of accessing therapy from the comfort of your own home or wherever you feel most comfortable.

After the 1st appointment is scheduled, you will receive a link to fill out 2 intake electronic forms: Agreement form and Client Information form. You will also receive an email with a link to a video session and with date & time of our appointment to conveniently add to your calendar with a click.

 

What can I expect in therapy sessions with you?

Each session is tailored to your unique needs and goals. We'll work collaboratively to explore your challenges, develop coping strategies, and foster personal growth. You can expect a safe, non-judgmental space where you can openly express yourself.

 

How long are therapy sessions, and how often do we meet?

Therapy sessions lasts 50 minutes. The frequency of our meetings depends on your individual needs and goals. We'll discuss this during our initial consultation and adjust as necessary throughout our work together.

 

What approaches or techniques do you use in therapy?

I utilize a holistic approach that integrates various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) Parts work, and Mindfulness techniques. My goal is to provide you with effective tools and strategies to promote healing and personal growth.

 

Is therapy confidential?

Yes, confidentiality is of utmost importance in therapy. Our sessions are private, and I adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines outlined by professional ethical standards and legal regulations. Your privacy and trust are fundamental to our therapeutic relationship. Virtual sessions offered via video, through a secure HIPAA compliant telehealth provider.

I offer a free 15 min consultation to discuss your concerns and determine if we're a good fit to work together.

 

What if I'm not sure about starting therapy or have concerns about the process?

It's normal to have reservations or uncertainties about starting therapy. During our initial consultation, we can address any questions or concerns you may have and discuss how therapy can support you in achieving your goals. Your comfort and well-being are my top priorities.
